This hotel is equal to 3 stars. What's more, free Wi Fi was a bonus.
-
Nice staff and views. Good sized room. We enjoyed to chill in the nearby the mermaid inn.
-
Really close to ports and lusty glaze beaches, room was clean
-
Good choice for 3 nights. We liked the astonishing view. We were upgraded to suite on check in. You will be about a 5-minute drive from Porth Beach...
-
Great location, close to the beach, city within walking distance, friendly and helpful staff
Cleanliness of the house was poor, when it rained, it dripped from the ceiling
-
The location is very good. It is easy to get around town, the train station, the beach and the Coast Path, and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly.
At breakfast, they produce heaps of packaging waste, everything is shrink-wrapped and packaged, even the breakfast cereals are packed in small packets, jam in plastic, just horrible! the dining room has a beautiful view, but is furnished as lovelessly as a waiting room.
-
relaxed atmosphere and staff who were well trained and knew exactly what made a visit special. I can't praise the standard of the staff too much, all of them were superb
Getting to some of the rooms is a tortuous affair

We choose this hotel because we needed to be at Newquay airport early in the morning and it was only a 15 minute drive, we would certainly return. It is very tastefully decorated; comfortable rooms with a lovely sea view and the staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful.
-
The staff were very friendly and helpful, it was nice to have a duvet and not sheets. The sea view rooms had a wonderful view, to wake up each morning to a sea view was lovely. The rooms were clean and tidy, lots of parking spaces. The hotel is in a perfect location.
You did not always get an internet connection due to where we were, so for business people they might struggle if using laptops etc
-
The location was outstanding and still the staff were great. Often in such a great setting, staff take the attitude that the views etc. will carry them through. Not the case here, the staff were willing to help with anything.

My stay for one week in May was very enjoyable. The restaurant area in the conservatory gives a very good view of Porth Beach and the surrounding area with stunning views of the coastline. Their health & spa facilities are first class with a fitness room, heated indoor swimming pool, heated jacuzzi & sauna.
There is no lift to any of the floors, just stairs
-
The views were amazing! it was lovely to wake up to the sound of the sea.
The price of the food menu was a little to high for us, not that thats a big problem because we ate out. The rooms were very loud at night. You could hear what was going on next door and outside throughout the night.
-
Location was fantastic. Overall good place to stay
Was told by staff that I could book dinner table on the day. But when I tried., didn't have any place left. I would suggest that it isbest to take table bookings so that customers are not disappointed
-
The swimming pool and jacuzzi were both amazing, the location was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and the resaurant was lovely with amazing views. Would def recommend this hotel for a romantic get away
-
Location of the hotel and view. Tasteful décor.
No access to tea/coffee or snack during day, except bedroom. Hearing creaks of floorboards & voices in other rooms.
